Greg Joy

Greg Joy is a Professional Drummer and Percussionist based in Liverpool.

Growing up in Oxford, Greg was surrounded by musicians due to his father being a drummer.

From the age of 9 Greg, would be invited on stage with his father's band to perform live at events across the UK.

After 10 years of learning and refining his craft, Greg then went on to graduate from the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, founded by Sir Paul McCartney, Music BA (Hons).

Greg has performed live and toured around the UK and Europe with some amazing talents, including artists who have achieved 2 Gold Albums and a UK Number 1 selling Album, such as China Crisis, The Farm, Maika Makovski and Xamvolo.

Alongside being a Session Drummer, Greg is an established stage and pit drummer, performing in musicals in a variety of theatres across the UK. Greg has also gained a reputation as a top percussionist within the commercial house scene, performing regularly alongside world class DJ’s at different events around the globe.
